ROHYPNOL

Rohypnol, CSA Schedule IV, is legally prescribed in over 50 countries. It is widely available in Mexico, Colombia, and Europe where it is used for the treatment of insomnia, and as a pre-anesthetic medication. Rohypnol, which is not legally prescribed in the U.S., the trade name for Flunitrazepam: is a member of the Benzodiazepine family, which includes Valium, Halcyon, Xanax, and Versed. These drugs are known for their sedative effects.
