LSD
LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide), CSA Schedule I, is
the most potent and highly studied hallucinogen known to man. Originally synthesized in 1938 by Dr. Albert Hoffman, it's
hallucinogenic effects were unknown until 1943 when Hoffman accidently consumed some of the LSD. It is a clear or white,
odorless, water-soluble material synthesized from lysergic acid, a compound derived from a rye fungus. LSD is the most
potent mood and perception-altering drug known.
