Message from the President
Winter 2008

I’ll open by welcoming everyone to the New Year. I hope you and your families had an enjoyable and safe holiday season. Just prior to the start of the holiday season we held our first seminar in Kenilworth, New Jersey. This was very well attended by our members. I thank our seminar chairman, Marty Lunch and his committee for all of the work in planning this year’s seminars. I also want to thank all of the instructors that volunteer their time making our seminars successful. If there is a member that is an expert or instructor in a particular narcotics field and wants to become involved or instruct for our organization, please contact a board member.
Congratulations to all of our N.J.N.E.O.A. Award Winners. This association wants you to know that your efforts and dedication do not go unnoticed. If you would like to nominate someone for the N.J.N.E.O.A. Award, please forward this information to our Awards Chairman, William Hess at Hess_w@acpo.org.
Last month I mentioned that this year’s annual conference was going to be held at the Hilton Hotel. The date and location has changed. The new location is the TRUMP HOTEL & MARINA. The dates are June 3rd through the 6th, 2008. Please start planning and submit your registrations soon. Marty Lynch, our Conference Chairman has put together what promises to be an exceptional and exciting year. It has been several years since we were in Atlantic City and I know many of our members are looking forward to returning.
I want to remind our membership that the NJNEOA newsletter is for you, our members. We want to recognize your dedication to Narcotics Enforcement. Please, if you have an investigation you believe to be newsworthy, forward this information to Al Camisa. This will enable us to place the story in YOUR newsletter. Please visit the website for our next seminar and additional information regarding the conference.
