“The Red Lion Raids”
On November 8th, 2007, officers from the New Jersey State Police Red Lion Station raided homes in Southampton and Pemberton Township. By the end of the day several pounds of marijuana, crack cocaine, firearms and several thousands of dollars were seized.
At approximately 8:00pm officers executed a search warrant at 600 Avenue D in Southampton from which 1.5 pounds of marijuana, five firearms, Xanax tablets, packaging material and $17,257 were seized. Charles Collins, the resident of the home was arrested and charged with possession and distribution of controlled dangerous substances.
Shortly thereafter, officers executed a search warrant at 25 Main Street in Pemberton Township and seized over 2 pounds of marijuana, 35 grams of crack cocaine, two firearms, drug packaging material and $2,400. David Castle, after a short pursuit, was arrested and charged with possession and distribution of controlled dangerous substances.
