“IT'S CALLED JUST A QUICKIE”
On August 24, 2007, several members of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force, without hesitation, quickly applied for, was granted and executed a court authorized search warrant upon the Atlantic City residence of Guridis Reyes.
Earlier that day, officers had received information that Reyes was in possession of nine ounces of crack cocaine. After conducting a brief investigation that yielded authorities the probable cause for a search warrant, officers then rapidly secured said warrant from a judge.
As a result of the officer’s efforts was: the arrest of Reyes, along with the seizure of 9 ounces of crack cocaine, $1,000 cash and drug paraphernalia. Reyes was charged with possession of crack cocaine over 5 ounces, possession with intent to distribute and possession within 1,000 feet of a school.
The NJNEOA congratulates Sgt. Paul Gautier, Inv’s Brian Lee & Kevin Locket of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force on their quick actions in conducting this outstanding narcotic investigation.
