“OPERATION LAST CALL”

In May 2006, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office culminated a several month narcotics investigation, dubbed “Operation Last Call”, with the arrest of 27 individuals. .

The ringleaders of the drug distribution group were Pennsylvania residents Shayne Murdock, 27 and Jessie Lopez, 24. The duo conducted much of their late night drug business selling cocaine near a bar on Hamilton Street in Bound Brook using Central Jersey residents as distributors.

About 12 ounces of cocaine with a street value of about $20,000 were seized in the investigation started by Bound Brook police and joined by the Prosecutor's Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force as well as New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Police.
