“KNOWLEDGE HAS BEEN HAD”

The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the South Hackensack Police Department conducted an investigation leading to the arrest of Keshawn Kennedy AKA “KNOWLEDGE” of Paterson, New Jersey for possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute. Under the direction of Sheriff Leo P. McGuire correction officers within the Bergen County Jail are encouraged to cultivate information of criminal activity. As a result of this initiative Correction Officer Michael Weingren obtained information that Keshawn Kennedy was distributing controlled substances within Bergen County.

Arrangements were made by a confidential source for Kennedy to deliver crack cocaine to the Horizon Motel located on Route 46 in South Hackensack, New Jersey. Upon Kennedy’s arrival officers subsequently discovered 44 bags of crack cocaine. Kennedy was arrested, charged accordingly and committed to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $7,500.00 bail no 10%.
