"YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T GET AWAY"

During the month of September, 2005 the Plainsboro Police Department and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force conducted an investigation into the drug distribution being conducted by a Wyndhurst Drive resident. Louis A. Jolley, 23, was alleged to be involved in the distribution of both crack cocaine and marijuana from his apartment.
After conducting surveillances on Jolley’s residence, authorities obtained a court authorized search warrant. On the day that officers attempted to execute the search warrant, Jolley jumped from his second-floor balcony in an attempt to escape. After a brief foot chase Jolley was placed under arrest.
During the search, police arrested Lemont P. Pringle, 30, who was also present in the residence while the search warrant was being executed. It was determined that Pringle was wanted on several outstanding warrants for various traffic violations as well as drug offenses.
Officers seized 13 ounces of marijuana, 11 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and $400.00 in drug proceeds from the apartment.
Jolley was charged with possession of drugs with intent to distribute in a school zone, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence, hindering apprehension, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held in the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick in lieu of $100,000 bail.
The NJNEOA once again congratulates the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, along with the Plainsboro Police Department on a job well done.
