"MAKING AN IMPACT"

During the year of 2004, members of the Drug Enforcement Administration, Passaic County Sheriff's Department, Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the Fort Lee Police Department, who comprised the New Jersey Division - Paterson Post of Duty, Task Force Group were assigned a myriad of tasks and responsibilities.
Their investigations ranged from local impact cases to wide range Cocaine, Heroin and Money Laundering investigations. The targets of those investigations were the highest level traffickers, both domestic and foreign.
The investigations conducted by the group resulted in the seizure of: 109 kilograms of Cocaine, 47 kilograms of Heroin, 49 kilograms of Marijuana, approximately $950,000 in U.S. Currency and affected 47 arrests. These statistics are a good indicator of the level of accomplishments by those officers assigned to the group.
The NJNEOA recognizes those officers from the Drug Enforcement Administration, Passaic County Sheriff's Department, Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the Fort Lee Police Department for their outstanding accomplishments in narcotics enforcement.
